Running for me is definitely a love-hate relationship. At times running does suck. I mean from 100m repeats to mile repeats, I have said in my own head, “What are you doing?!” Again running is a love-hate but I realized that running is the only sport that challenged me to be better at something continuously. So it’s not that I just love to run but I respect what running has done for my life. Running gave me an outlet to release my emotions and express myself from a dysfunctional home.

The beautiful thing about soup is that it can be the most nutritious breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you put the right items in it Plus it’s easy to store in a mason jar and take with you to work throughout the week. Eating greens are must, i.e collards, kale, mustard, turnip, etc…this soup will have everything you need to get in all your micronutrients, fiber, protein, and good carbs without sacrificing flavor.
Read MoreAre 15 minute workouts good to do? The answer is, yes and no. My sister loved my illustration so I will share it with you. Yes from the stand point that something is better than nothing. No from the stand point that your results will be limited if any at all. So here’s the illustration I like to use: If you are remodeling your kitchen and I mean a complete overhaul and your contractor says, “I will come by your house and work on your kitchen 15 minutes a day until the kitchen is done.”

- Praise; express warm approval or admiration of
What does working out have to do with praising HIM? Yes the Lord! Well more than we may ever know. I always talk about making a healthy and active lifestyle bigger than looking good in a bikini or having a six pack. Although those aspects are very important ) they alone will not give anyone the motivation to continue the journey. Once you reach those physical goals, your journey ends and its back to the same ole’ lifestyle you had before. How do you keep from going back? How do you make the journey continuous? Here’s the reality, if the physical results are the main reason you are in the gym and eating kale, then you are not about that life!

Disgust; a feeling of revulsion or profound disapproval aroused by something unpleasant or offensive
As most of you are aware, I am an Advocare Distributor. I absolutely love the company, maybe more than the products, and that’s saying something because their products are untouchable. Well anyway, as I was sitting at an Advocare conference, the speaker made the statement, “If your level of disgust and level of desire are not the same, then change will never happen.”

I see people wanting to represent the lifestyle of fitness, and most do it well. We can get a little self-consumed when it comes to training the body, so there has to be a balance. Even the good book says that “physical training has some value.” Key word is “some;” we need to have a measure of fitness and being active but just because you do doesn’t make you special! I saw this commercial of a man doing pull ups off a helicopter while it was flying in the air. I mean for what!

Glad you asked! It is the consumption of food in its most natural state – or as close as possible. This is the core of clean eating. Basically, eating clean is the practice of eating whole and natural foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and complex carbohydrates. It’s not a diet; it’s a lifestyle approach to food and its preparation, leading to health, well-being and a lean look.
